2020 Father Son Breakfast

All students and their fathers, grandfathers and/or male role models are invited to attend the 2020 Father Son Breakfast, which offers our Westlake boys an opportunity to spend some quality time together with the males who are important to them while enjoying a cooked breakfast and listening to an inspirational speaker.

Please note that tickets for the original date remain valid. The deadline for buying tickets is Wed 16 September or earlier if sold out.

Our speaker this year is Ian Telford, an experienced barrister who specialises in the law relating to children.

The bulk of Ian's work is acting directly for children and young people, particularly those who are in complex care arrangements, often involving Oranga Tamariki and NZ Police.

Ian followed a unique pathway into the law, starting his working life as a nurse in the fields of child psychiatry, mental health and intellectual disability. He has practiced in a variety of legal settings (from large international firms to local government) and now works as an independent barrister on the North Shore and in South Auckland.

We are excited and very fortunate to have secured Ian as our guest speaker and know that his talk around success, character, ambition and compassion will really resonate with those who attend.
