Westlake Boys High School invites you to the 2025 Mother and Son Breakfast on Thursday 15th May, 7:00 – 8:20am
 
This popular event offers mums and sons an opportunity to spend some quality time together while enjoying breakfast and listening to a fabulous guest speaker.  Students and their mothers, or female role model, are invited to attend.

We are delighted to announce Laura McGoldrick as our guest speaker for 2025.

With her can-do attitude and infectious smile, Laura McGoldrick has built herself an incredibly versatile career in the media working as a broadcaster, presenter, radio host, MC and even a part-time actress.

Hosting shows such as Game of Two Halves and The Women's Game, fronting Sky TV's Olympic Coverage, as well as presenting numerous live rugby, cricket and rugby league sporting events, Laura has become a well-loved media personality both in New Zealand and internationally.

Christchurch born and bred, Laura has always been involved in sport with both her brothers playing, her Dad running Jade Stadium, Mum a sports player agent, and now the bulk of her work is broadcasting in various sporting arenas.

Laura is married to former Black Cap Martin Guptill and has two young children, daughter Harley and son Teddy.

Laura is passionate about fitness, a keen golfer, a loving mother and a hard worker; the perfect example of a Kiwi woman who can do it all!

Ticket Sales will close on Wednesday 7 May, or earlier if sold out.  Please get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are $35 each and all attending students must have a ticket.

Doors open at 6:30am for a 7:00am start.  Event concludes by 8:20am.
